IFFCO Phulpur showed its capability by carrying out technical repair of gas turbine within the time limit.

Bureau Prayagraj- IFFCO Phulpur keeps showing its technical proficiency from time to time. In the same sequence, there was a lot of technical deficiency in the gas turbine of Ammonia Plant 2, due to which the management here was left with two options in view of the possibility of production being affected. First, it should be replaced or it should be reinstalled after doing maintenance to remove its technical deficiencies.

According to sources, replacement of the new equipment would have cost the organization crores of rupees because the cost of this important equipment was hundreds of crores of rupees many years ago and today it has become more than double of that amount. To save it, its efficient technical management decided to take up the responsibility of repair and by taking a 15-day shutdown, it completed the challenging task within the stipulated time, demonstrating its technical capability.

It was tested and replaced again. Due to which the management and employees here are happy. On this occasion, formal puja was performed here and gratitude was expressed to God. This successful maintenance operation of the Electrical Department took place under the supervision of Unit Head PK Singh, Senior General Manager Sanjay Bhandari, General Manager Maintenance Sanjay Patel.
