America surrounded the Iranian ship in the middle of the sea, made a hole in the engine room

Tension in the Gulf region has once again reached its peak. US President Donald Trump informed on Monday that the US Navy has captured an Iranian cargo ship ‘Touska’ after stopping it in the Gulf of Oman. After this action, Iran has termed it as ‘armed robbery’ and warned America of dire consequences.

According to President Trump, the American guided missile destroyer ‘USS Spruance’ had given a clear warning to the Iranian ship to stop. When the Iranian crew ignored this warning and tried to break the US blockade near the Strait of Hormuz, the US Navy took drastic action. Trump said that to stop the ship, a hole was made in its engine room, after which the ship stopped.

The US President claimed that the length of ‘Touska’ is about 900 feet and its weight is equal to an ‘aircraft carrier’. Trump wrote in his ‘Truth Social’ post, “Tausa is already under US Treasury sanctions due to her past illegal activities. It is now in our full possession and we are investigating what is aboard!” According to MarineTraffic.com, Tauska is a container ship that was sailing under the Iranian flag. Till a few hours ago its location was seen in the Arabian Gulf.

After this incident, Iran’s attitude has become tough. The spokesman of Iran’s military command center ‘Khatam al-Anbia’ was quoted by the news agency ISNA as saying that the army of the Islamic Republic will soon give a befitting reply to this armed robbery. He has directly warned the American Army of dire consequences.

This incident has happened at a time when only a few days are left for the ceasefire between the two countries to end. This confrontation has increased uncertainty over possible peace talks in Pakistan. Trump has confirmed that US negotiators are going to Islamabad on Monday. There has been no official confirmation from Iran regarding the talks yet.

However, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf said in an interview that we will not retreat in the field of diplomacy, but he also admitted that the differences between the two sides are very deep.
