Earthquake occurred twice within 3 hours in Manipur’s Kamjong district, the intensity was this much
Manipur Earthquake: Earthquake tremors were felt twice in India’s northeastern state of Manipur on Tuesday. Earthquakes struck Kamjong district of the state twice in a span of three hours this morning. The effect of which has also been seen in the neighboring state of Meghalaya.

According to PTI, officials said an earthquake of 5.2 magnitude hit Manipur on Tuesday morning. He further said that the earthquake occurred at 5.59 am and its epicenter was in Kamjong district. Tremors were felt in neighboring Ukhrul district, the capital Imphal and even in Meghalaya, but there were no reports of any casualties or damage so far.
After this, an earthquake also occurred at around nine in the morning. The intensity of which was less than the earlier earthquake. According to the National Seismological Centre, an earthquake of magnitude 3.3 struck Kamjong in Manipur at around 9:03 am. So far, there has been no news of any loss of life or property in these two earthquakes.
