Big game in Bihar as soon as PM Modi meets him! Samrat Chaudhary may soon form mega cabinet with 33 ministers

New Delhi: Bihar’s new Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi on Tuesday. This is his first visit to Delhi after assuming the post of Chief Minister. This meeting is being described as a courtesy call, but it is being considered very important in political circles.

Cabinet expansion may be discussed

Samrat Chaudhary can also meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah. According to sources, during this visit there can be an important discussion regarding cabinet expansion in Bihar. Political experts believe that after these meetings the process of forming the cabinet will speed up.

Cabinet almost empty now

At present, only Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and two Deputy Chief Ministers have taken oath in Bihar. Bijendra Prasad Yadav and Vijay Chaudhary from Janata Dal (United) have become Deputy Chief Ministers. No one has been made a minister from the BJP quota yet. There is a provision for a total of 33 ministers in Bihar, but the new government has not been fully formed yet.

Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary currently holds many departments with himself. This is affecting the administrative work. In such a situation, expanding the cabinet soon is a big challenge for the new government.

vote of confidence on 24th april

A special session of Bihar Assembly has been called on 24 April. In this, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary will present a trust vote motion in the House and prove his government’s majority. This is the first time that BJP has become the Chief Minister of Bihar.

Earlier in the NDA government, Nitish Kumar was the Chief Minister and was the Deputy Chief Minister from BJP. Now the role of BJP has strengthened under the leadership of Samrat Chaudhary.

Focus on development and governance

During the meeting, discussions were held regarding prosperous Bihar and the development of the state. Samrat Chaudhary has also given the message of zero tolerance on corruption. After these meetings in Delhi, cabinet expansion can happen soon, which will give new momentum to the governance system.

The new government of Bihar has to face many challenges. Administrative work will be able to run smoothly only after the complete formation of the cabinet.
