According to statistics, India’s record is definitely better, but in the current series, the host team has performed brilliantly and taken the lead. In such a situation, it will not be easy for India to make a comeback.

South Africa’s dominance in the second T20

In the second match of the series, Laura Volwart and Sune Luus batted brilliantly. Wolvaardt scored 54 runs in 34 balls, while Luus scored 57 runs in 46 balls. Both of them made the match completely one-sided by making a partnership of 106 runs for the first wicket. South Africa achieved the target of 148 runs by losing 2 wickets in just 17.1 overs. Indian batting remained weak

Batting has been a matter of great concern for the Indian team in the first two matches. In the second T20, Shefali Verma definitely struggled by scoring 57 runs in 38 balls, but the rest of the batsmen flopped. Smriti Mandhana has been able to score only 25 runs in two matches so far, while Jemimah Rodrigues has also disappointed. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur could score only 12 runs in the second match after playing a good innings in the first match.
