Heat will release sixes, heat wave alert issued from Punjab-Haryana to UP-Bihar
The effects of heat are becoming visible across the country. The heat is troubling people from North to South India. In some states of North India, the mercury has now started reaching beyond 40 degrees. In many states, it is becoming difficult to go out in the afternoon in the month of April itself. On the other hand, heavy rains are continuing in some parts of North-East and Eastern India. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding rain in 13 states. Along with this, according to the latest forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heat wave in most of the states of North India today.
The weather has started showing its attitude in the capital Delhi and NCR region. The Meteorological Department has said that there will be severe heat and heat wave conditions. Heat wave alert has been issued from 21st to 24th April, which means the heat is going to trouble the people of Delhi for the next 2-3 days. During this period, the maximum temperature is expected to be around 41 degrees Celsius and the minimum will be around 23 degrees Celsius.

Heat havoc in UP-Bihar
Heat wave continues in both the states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Most of the districts of Uttar Pradesh are in the grip of severe heat. The weather department has issued heat wave alert in many districts. The maximum temperature in Bundelkhand remains around 45 degrees Celsius and a heatwave alert has been issued. The Meteorological Department has issued a heat wave alert in Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Ballia, Kushinagar, Deoria, Mirzapur, Ghazipur and Sonbhadra in eastern Uttar Pradesh. In Kanpur and Lucknow also the mercury has crossed 42 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, the heat will increase further in UP in the coming two days.
Now the heat has started showing its effect in Bihar also. Like UP, the heat in Bihar too is going to be very troublesome for the next two days. The Meteorological Department has predicted that heat wave will have more impact in Patna, Arwal, Jehanabad, Bhojpur, Rohtas, Kaimur, Nalanda, Nawada, Gaya, Gopalganj, Siwan, Saran, West Champaran, East Champaran, Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Vaishali, Samastipur. The maximum temperature in these districts is likely to be between 40-42 degrees Celsius.
Heat wave alert in these states
According to the official website of the Meteorological Department, there is a severe heat alert in many states of the country today. There is a possibility of heat wave in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh. The Meteorological Department has also issued an alert regarding this and has appealed to the people to be cautious.
It will rain in these states
Weather activities are likely to continue over the states of Northeast India on April 22. No rain alert has been issued in Himachal, Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir today, but a new western disturbance will be active on April 24, due to which there is a possibility of rain, snowfall and hail in the higher reaches.

Weather in Northeast
Rain activities are still continuing in Northeast India. According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of heavy rain in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Tripura, Manipur and Mizoram today on April 22. During this period, winds can blow at a speed of 50 to 70 kilometers per hour. The Meteorological Department has issued a heavy alert in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya. Along with this, there are indications of rain in Maharashtra and Gujarat today.
