The accused was extorting illegal money from people through an alleged trust named “Cardio Seva Sansthan”. Action on information from Proctor Office
On 21st April 2026, Chief Proctor Prof. from the Proctor Office of KGMU. R.S. Written information was given by Kushwaha to the police station Chowk that a person named Hassam Ahmed was committing fraud and forgery in the university campus. As soon as the information was received, the police became active and started investigation.
Cheating of patients, game of fake trust
Investigation revealed that the accused used to cheat the patients and their attendants who came to the hospital for treatment by running a fake organization named “Cardio Seva Sansthan”. He used to collect money illegally from them in the name of helping in treatment.
Fake notice issued with fake signature
Police investigation also revealed that on April 13, 2026, the accused had assaulted Professor and Dean Paramedical of the Surgery Department, Dr. K.K. A fake notice was issued in the name of the students of MBBS 2023 batch by forging the signature of Singh. In this notice, it was said that they would participate in the alleged conference to be held at AIIMS Delhi on April 29, which turned out to be completely false.
Conspiracy to take girl students out on some pretext
Many suspicious documents were found in the investigation of the mobile phone of the accused. Preliminary investigation has indicated that he was trying to take MBBS girl students to Delhi or other places in the name of conference. Police are investigating it considering it as a serious criminal conspiracy.

The arrested accused has been identified as Hassam Ahmed (aged around 26 years), originally from Siddharthnagar and was currently living in Madiyav area of Lucknow.
