Confirmed! Vivo X300 Ultra and Vivo X300 FE will be launched in India on May 6, 6,500mAh battery with Zeiss camera

Vivo is preparing to expand its flagship smartphone series Vivo X300 in the Indian market. The company has announced that two new models in this lineup – Vivo X300 Ultra and Vivo X300 FE will be launched early next month. The company has also shared information about its design, color options and key features through its official microsite.

Notably, the Vivo X300 Ultra was first launched in China in March, while the X300 FE is already available in some global markets. Their entry in India will expand the X300 series, which already includes Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro launching in December 2025.

The company has shared a post on X and confirmed that it will launch Vivo X300 Ultra and Vivo X300 FE in India on May 6 at 12 noon IST. Vivo India microsite reveals that Vivo X300 FE will be available in Lilac Purple, Noir Black and Urban Olive color options in India. It will have a slim 7.99mm profile and 191g weight, with an AG finish for a comfortable grip.

Features of Vivo X300 Ultra and Vivo X300 FE

The Indian variant of Vivo’s upcoming phone will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, which will be paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. It will have a 6,500mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging support. As for optics, the Vivo On the front, it will feature a 50-megapixel Zeiss-tuned wide-angle camera with a 90-degree field of view. Camera features will include a Zeiss multifocal portrait mode across focal lengths, adaptive zoom flash and a street photography mode.

The Vivo Vivo has also included OriginOS features like smooth performance, memory fusion, and cross-device sharing, along with AI visual tools for dynamic background effects.

Meanwhile, the Vivo X300 Ultra will be offered in Eclipse Black and Victory Green finishes, with the Indian variant expected to feature a camera-inspired design with knurled texture and split finish. It will feature a Zeiss Master Lenses system covering multiple focal lengths, including a 14mm ultrawide camera with a 50-megapixel Sony Lytia 818 sensor, a 35mm documentary camera with a 200-megapixel Sony LYTIA 901 sensor, and an 85mm APO telephoto camera with a 200-megapixel sensor and gimbal-like stabilization.

For video, the Vivo X300 Ultra will support 4K recording at 120fps with Dolby Vision, 10-bit log video, and ACES integration for professional workflows. It will also enable multi-focal slow-motion and time-lapse recording as well as 60fps autofocus tracking for fast-moving subjects.

The Indian variant of Vivo It will also have a large vapor chamber cooling system for consistent performance. Vivo has also confirmed that the X300 Ultra will get five years of OS updates and seven years of security updates.
