ICC fined Bangladesh cricket team, got punishment for this crime
New Delhi: Bangladesh Cricket Team is currently playing a three-match ODI series against New Zealand, in the second match of which it got a spectacular victory. After this victory, ICC has given a blow to Bangladesh. Bangladesh were found guilty of slow overrate in the second ODI, after which ICC deducted 10 percent of the team’s match fee.
ICC match referee Andy Pycroft found Bangladesh guilty of slowing down by two overs. Bangladesh captain Mehdi Hasan Miraj did not appear before the ICC match referee. Actually the Bangladesh captain accepted his mistake. Let us tell you that the ODI series between Bangladesh and New Zealand is tied at 1-1.
New Zealand had won the first ODI by 26 runs, whereas in the second match, Bangladesh counterattacked and won by 6 wickets. The last match of the three-match ODI series will be played in Chattogram on 23 April. After this, there will be a three-match ODI series from April 27.
