Iranian aggression in Hormuz! Confiscated ship to India, which way Middle East unrest?
Continued Iranian aggression in the Strait of Hormuz! The two ships were seized by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. One of them was going to India. The two ships are currently being towed to Tehran. This is what the Iranian media said.
It is known that the two seized ships are named ‘Epaminodes’ and ‘MSC Francesca’. The first carries the flag of Liberia and the second is associated with Israel. The ‘Epaminodes’ embarked from Jebel Ali port in Dubai. The destination was Gujarat. But the Iranian army seized the two ships before crossing Hormuz.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said in a statement that the two ships, MSC Francesca and Epaminodes, had no permits. They were moving in violation of the rules. Not only that, the ship was jeopardizing safety rules at sea by tampering with two navigation systems. That is why they have been confiscated. Both vessels are being towed off the coast of Iran. Tehran has said that there is a connection between Israel and MSC Francesca.
The situation in the Middle East is getting more complicated as time goes by. The cloud of uncertainty surrounding the second round of peace talks has not yet cleared. Mediator Pakistan said that Tehran has not yet officially announced anything about joining the peace talks. Pak Information Minister Ataullah Tarar wrote on his X handle, ‘It is not yet certain whether Iran will send a delegation to the peace talks in Islamabad or not. Tehran has not officially said anything yet. We are waiting. We are also in regular contact with Iran.
In the midst of all this, Iran has established its dominance in Hormuz. Tehran opened fire on a cargo ship in Hormuz on Wednesday morning. The British Army claims that the Iranian military’s surveillance boat did not warn the ship before attacking it. It is believed that Khamenei’s country took revenge for the US blockade of Hormuz and the seizure of their ships. In this situation, Iran seized two ships in Hormuz.
