India becomes tech exporter, now the world will buy indigenous 5G, a matter of pride for the country

Digital India: There was a time when India was considered only a consumer of technology, but now the picture has completely changed. Today India is not only fulfilling its needs but is also exporting technology to the world. Especially indigenous 4G and 5G technology has entered the global market, which is considered a big achievement for the country.

The Government of India and C-DOT (Center for Development of Telematics) have played an important role behind this success. This is the reason why India’s technology is now rapidly gaining recognition at the international level.

The name of Indian 5G echoed in the world

Indian 5G technology is no longer limited to just the country. Bengaluru-based company Tejas Networks has started taking it to the global level. According to reports, trials of Indian 4G-5G networks are going on successfully in countries like Japan, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Tanzania and Uganda.

Not only this, its testing has also been completed with a big operator in South Asia. Bhutan is already using Indian telecom equipment, which proves the reliability of this technology.

The world got a strong alternative to China

India is getting the benefit of the changing circumstances at the global level. Countries like America and Europe have started removing equipment from Chinese companies due to security reasons. In such a situation, Indian technology has emerged as a safe and reliable option.

Tejas Networks has partnered with big Japanese companies NEC and Rakuten. This will further strengthen Indian technology in the international market. This step will not only increase exports but will also strengthen India’s technology image.

India now has the entire technology chain

India now has its own Radio Access Network (RAN) and core products. This is the reason why mobile operators around the world are getting attracted towards the Indian system. This is a big step towards self-reliant India.

Preparation for 6G also started

India is not limited to just 5G, but preparations for the future are also in full swing. TCS and Tejas Networks have together created about 1 lakh indigenous 4G sites for BSNL, which can be easily upgraded to 5G.

Apart from this, Wireless Center of Excellence has also been established, where research on 5G advanced and 6G technology has started. It is clear from this that India is rapidly moving towards becoming a global leader in the field of technology in the coming times.
