SpaceX is preparing to acquire AI coding startup Cursor for $60 billion i.e. about Rs 5 lakh crore. The special thing is that one of the co-founders of this startup is also a youth of Indian origin. His name is Aman Sarang. If this deal is completed, it will be one of the biggest deals ever in the AI sector.
According to media reports, SpaceX has secured the option to buy Cursor, while alternatively the two companies can also enter into a larger partnership worth $10 billion. Even though this deal is yet to be finalized, Aman Sangar is in the news due to this deal. People want to know about them. Aman of Indian origin has achieved such a big position at a very young age.

Who is Aman Sangar?
Aman Sangar is one of the four co-founders of Cursor. Along with Aman, Michael Truel, Sualeh Asif and Arvid Lunnemark are also co-founders of this startup. These four people have created the cursor for which today a company like SpaceX is ready to pay Rs 5 thousand crores. All four were students of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the world’s most prominent engineering college. While studying at MIT, he formulated the idea of changing the way of AI coding. Together, all four ran this startup with the aim of making coding easier.
What is the connection with India?
According to the Times of India report, Aman Sangar grew up in an Indian-origin family in America. His father Arvind Sangar studied at IIT Bombay and works in a hedge fund. Aman Sangar’s mother Shilpa Sangar is an orthodontist and businessman. Aman started coding at an early age and later completed his computer science studies from MIT. In 2022, he started Anysphere company and later Cursor platform was brought under this company. Aman has played an important role in taking this startup forward.

Cursor is an advanced AI-powered coding tool. This is a very different and advanced tool from normal coding.
