Young FC Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has issued an emotional statement on Instagram after being ruled out with a hamstring injury, expressing his disappointment at missing crucial moments of the season while promising a strong comeback.
The Spanish winger admitted the timing of the injury has been particularly painful, especially as the team enters a decisive phase. In his heartfelt message, Yamal revealed how difficult it has been to stay away from the pitch when he feels he should be contributing alongside his teammates.
“This injury leaves me off the pitch at the moment I wanted to be there the most, and it hurts more than I can explain,” Yamal said. “It hurts not being able to fight alongside my teammates, not being able to help when the team needs me.”
Despite the setback, the 17-year-old showed unwavering belief in Barcelona’s squad, backing them to continue giving their best in every match. His message reflected both frustration and strong team spirit, highlighting his connection with the club and dressing room.
“But I believe in them and I know they’re going to give their all in every match,” he added.
