Former Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni has not played a single match in IPL 2026. On the other hand, former Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma had a hamstring problem in the match against RCB. After which he retired in the middle of the match due to injury and went out. Since then Rohit has lost 3 matches for Mumbai Indians. Fans at Wankhede Stadium were hopeful that Rohit Sharma would play against Chennai Super Kings but Rohit’s name was not in the list of playing XI.
