Rajnath Singh’s big statement in Germany, emphasized on immense opportunities for defense investment in India

Tezzbuzz Desk – Rajnath Singh presented the strength and possibilities of India’s defense sector to the world at the Defense Investor Summit 2026 held in Munich, Germany. The event, held at Bayerischer Hof on April 23, was attended by senior representatives of the Indian and German defense industries.

In his address, the Defense Minister made it clear that India is rapidly moving towards self-reliance in the defense sector and the reforms done for this are getting positive response at the global level. He said that India has given a new direction to the defense sector through policy changes, transparency and investment-friendly environment.

Rajnath Singh stressed on further strengthening the defense cooperation between India and Germany and said that both the countries should work towards increasing co-development and co-production in advanced technology. He believes that this partnership will not only strengthen the security of both the countries, but will also contribute significantly to global stability.

During the summit, India presented itself as an emerging defense manufacturing hub and invited international companies for investment and partnership. India’s progress in areas like drone technology, warships, fighter aircraft, missile systems and air defense was especially highlighted.

The Defense Minister also indicated that India is fully open to foreign investment and technology partnerships, especially in areas that require cutting-edge technology and innovation. His visit is being considered a big step towards promoting defense investment in India and attracting global companies.
