He was such an important part of the entire story and screenplay that if I had removed him, the soul of that character would have been destroyed. Without that scene, that character would have remained incomplete, so it was necessary to do it. While reading the story on paper, this decision seemed right to me, but I was not sure whether I would actually be able to do it in front of the camera or whether I would refuse at the last moment.

Kajol was uncomfortable before kissing

Kajol put forward her point and said that she was very uncomfortable during the scene shoot. The actress said- I think I was uncomfortable with it. I was very uncomfortable with this idea until I stood on the set. I felt good about it in theory and I wasn’t sure if I was actually going to do it or tell them, ‘Cut!’ This is not happening!’ But I think in the end it was completely a professional decision for me. I felt that today I can take this risk as an artist.
