Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spent some morning time on the banks of Hooghly river during his visit to Kolkata. Actually he worshiped here and expressed his reverence towards Mother Ganga. During this, he said that Ganga is not just a river but an identity related to the culture and emotions of the people of Bengal. Prime Minister Modi also shared this experience on his social media.
In fact, Prime Minister Modi told that the time spent on the banks of Hooghly river has been very special for him. During this, he interacted with the sailors and local people present there and also learned about their daily life.
