LPG Gas Cylinder: The effects of the Middle East war are becoming visible in India also. Due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, there has been a direct impact on oil and gas. Government oil companies had banned the issuance of new LPG (cooking gas) connections for one month. But till now no new date has been announced for increasing it. In such a situation, if you are also thinking of taking a new connection, then you may have to wait for a few more days.
According to media reports, oil and gas companies have taken this decision in view of the shortage of LPG. The closure of Hormuz has had a direct impact on India’s oil and gas supply. The biggest reason behind keeping new connections closed is to continue supply to existing customers without any interruption. So that they do not face any kind of problem. Therefore new connections have been banned.
Ban was imposed for 1 month
In the early days of the Middle East war, in view of the energy crisis, a ban on new connections was imposed for 1 month, but this ban still continues temporarily. That means a new connection cannot be taken. However, when will the situation become normal? Nothing can be said regarding this yet. No date has been fixed yet as to when the new connections will be released. That is, until a new date is decided. Till then people taking new LPG connections may have to wait.
