What did Shubman Gill say on the defeat against RCB?
Shubman Gill said, ‘From the 16th to the 19th over, we were not able to hit any boundaries in those three overs and we did not get as many runs as we wanted. I think those three overs were very important for us. We were in a good position at the end of the powerplay. It was all about taking wickets in the middle overs, which I think we were not able to do right after the powerplay ended.
Shubman Gill on giving life to Virat Kohli at 0, ‘When a batsman is out or not, it is always difficult for the fielder, but I think it is important how you come back into the game and we had our moments with the ball, but I don’t think we were able to hit the length ball consistently, which was difficult to hit sometimes on this wicket. He batted brilliantly in the middle overs.
Shubman Gill said, “Sai Sudharsan was brilliant tonight. Hopefully he continues to perform like this in the next match, and give me more strike in the powerplay (smiles)”. pic.twitter.com/VTLVL5NdjH
