Vivo Y6 5G: Vivo’s new budget phone launched, will get 7200mAh strong battery, 12GB RAM and powerful features

Vivo Y6 5G Launched: Vivo has launched its new Y-series smartphone Vivo Y6 5G in China. This phone comes in three different color options and has a large 7,200mAh battery, which supports 44W wired fast charging. Snapdragon chipset is provided in the phone and it has up to 256GB storage. Apart from this, it also has up to 12GB RAM and 50-megapixel rear camera. This device comes with IP68 and IP69 rating, that is, it is protected from dust and water.

Price and availability
Vivo Y6 5G is priced at CNY 1,799 (approximately ₹24,000) for the 8GB + 128GB variant. The price of 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants is CNY 1,999 (approximately ₹27,000) and CNY 2,199 (approximately ₹30,000) respectively.

This phone is available in China in Galaxy Silver, Obsidian Black and Phoenix Welcomes Gold (translation of the Chinese name) color options.

Specifications of Vivo Y6 5G
Vivo Y6 5G with dual-SIM (Nano + Nano) support runs on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. It has a 6.75-inch HD + LCD display (720×1570 pixels), which supports 120Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits peak brightness.

The phone has a 4nm octa-core Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, with which it comes with Adreno 613 GPU and up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM.

For photography, it has a 50-megapixel CMOS rear camera (f/2.2 aperture). An 8-megapixel front camera (f/2.05 aperture) is available for selfies and video calls. Many features like portrait, night mode, live photo and slow motion have been provided in the camera.

This phone comes with up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. For connectivity, it has 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and USB Type-C port. The phone also includes features like accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, infrared remote and proximity sensor.

Vivo Y6 5G has a large 7,200mAh battery, which supports 44W fast charging. According to the company, this battery can provide up to 15.5 hours of navigation and 39.1 hours of calling backup on a single charge. For security, it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face recognition feature.

The phone comes with IP68 + IP69 rating and also gets SGS 5-star drop and shock resistance certification. Its size is 166.64 x 78.43 x 8.39mm and weight is 219 grams.
