Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha resigns from AAP, along with which MPs will he join BJP? see here

New Delhi: There has been a big political upheaval in the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha, one of the prominent faces of the party, has resigned from AAP. The news of his resignation and possible joining BJP has created a stir in the politics of the entire country.

Growing resentment within the party

Raghav Chadha was recently very angry after being removed from the post of Deputy Leader in Rajya Sabha by the party. The party had even refused to give him time to speak. After this decision, Chadha broke his silence and said, “My own party silenced me.”

While announcing his resignation, Chadha launched a scathing attack on AAP. He said, “For the last few years, I was feeling that I was the right man in the wrong party. Therefore, today I announce my distance from AAP and my closeness to the public.”

Raghav Chadha clearly said that he was being continuously sidelined within the party. Some time ago, Ashok Mittal was made the deputy leader in Rajya Sabha in his place, which is considered to be an attempt to reduce Chadha’s influence. Chadha also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent praise, which has further intensified the speculations about joining BJP.

Can join BJP with these MPs

Raghav Chadha is not going alone. According to sources and his claims, along with him many other prominent MPs are also preparing to leave AAP. These may include the names of Harbhajan Singh (former cricketer and Rajya Sabha MP), Rajinder Gupta and Vikramjit Singh Sahni.

If Chadha changes party with two-thirds of the MPs, the anti-defection law will not apply to him. It is believed that this step can greatly affect the politics of Delhi and Punjab.
