In the 34th match of IPL 2026, Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Rajat Patidar won the toss and decided to bowl first. Coming to bat first, Gujarat Titans got off to a great start with Sai Sudarshan and Shubman Gill making a partnership of 128 runs in 76 balls for the first wicket.

Shubman Gill scored 32 runs in 24 balls, while Sai Sudarshan batted brilliantly and scored a century of 100 runs in 58 balls, which included 11 fours and 5 sixes. Apart from this, Jos Buttler scored 25 runs in 16 balls, while Jason Holder scored unbeaten 23 runs in 10 balls. Due to these innings the team made a challenging score of 205 runs.

In bowling for RCB, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Suyyash Sharma and Josh Hazlewood took 1-1 wicket.

Chasing the target of 206 runs, Royal Challengers Bangalore definitely got the initial blow in the form of Jacob Bethel (10). After this, Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal took over the innings and made a brilliant partnership of 115 runs in 59 balls for the second wicket. Devdutt Padikkal batted fast and scored 55 runs in 27 balls, while Virat Kohli played a brilliant inning of 81 runs in 44 balls, which included 8 fours and 4 sixes.

In the end, Krunal Pandya scored unbeaten 23 runs in 12 balls and gave the team victory in just 18.5 overs. In this way, Royal Challengers Bangalore achieved this target with 7 balls remaining and won the match by 5 wickets.

In bowling for Gujarat Titans, Rashid Khan took 2 wickets, while Manav Suthar, Mohammed Siraj and Jason Holder got 1-1 success.

With this win, Royal Challengers Bangalore have moved to second place in the points table with 10 points, while Gujarat Titans have suffered their fourth defeat of this season.
