Virat Kohli looked in great form in the IPL 2026 match against Gujarat Titans, but missed out on a century. Kohli’s anger was clearly visible after Jason Holder took his wicket and was out. However, his innings completely turned the match towards RCB.

In the 34th match of IPL 2026 played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Titans, Virat Kohli once again showed his class, but this time he missed a century. In the match played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, Kohli batted brilliantly and led the team to victory, but his wicket fell on 81 runs.

In the second innings, when Royal Challengers Bangalore was chasing the target, Kohli adopted an aggressive stance as soon as he came. In the beginning he also got a lease of life, but after that he did not give any chance and kept scoring runs rapidly. It seemed that he would easily complete his century, but then Jason Holder, who was bowling the 14th over of the innings, bowled him.

Holder bowled the fourth ball of the over, a slow bouncer, which Kohli could not read properly and the ball hit his bat and went straight into the stumps. In this way his brilliant innings of 81 runs in 44 balls came to an end. After getting out, Kohli looked very disappointed and in anger he hit the bat on his pads and turned towards the pavilion.

Talking about the match, Gujarat Titans batting first scored 205 runs, in which Sai Sudarshan (100) scored a brilliant century. But thanks to the strong innings of Kohli (81) and Devdutt Padikkal (55), RCB achieved the target in just 18.5 overs and won the match by 5 wickets.
