Yogendra Yadav said- ‘Raghav Chaddha’s complaint may be justified but…’
Politics has heated up after Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chaddha and other MPs joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. After Raghav joining BJP, reactions have started coming from the leaders. Social activist and political analyst Yogendra Yadav said that what has happened today is not just a case of some people leaving the party because they feel mistreated.
He said that Raghav Chadha’s complaint may be legitimate, but 100 other people may also have complaints against him. This completely destroys the spirit of the anti-defection law. Goes against the spirit of the Constitution and weakens the basic spirit of democracy. He said that if you can, why not go ahead to contest elections?
Yogendra Yadav further said that I have no peace for you. He said that I never talked to any of these colleagues. I never defended the Aam Aadmi Party. Taking aim at AAP, Yogendra Yadav said that he has turned the party into a place where you come only for the sake of power.
Regarding Raghav Chadha, he said why the basic spirit of the anti-defection law is being destroyed? This is against the spirit of the Constitution. This is against the spirit of democracy. He said that even if you are given everything then how does it happen?
He raised questions as to how this is possible. Yogendra Yadav further said that this model of one nation, one election, one party, one leader is being imposed on the country today. Let us tell you that Raghav Chadha has left the party along with two-thirds of the Rajya Sabha MPs.
