Sai Sudharsan has now become the fastest batsman to complete 2000 runs in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He achieved this feat in just 47 innings. Earlier this record was in the name of Chris Gayle, who had completed 2000 runs in 48 innings. Sudarshan created a new history by achieving this milestone an innings ago.
With this achievement, Sudarshan has become the second batsman from Gujarat Titans to complete 2000 runs in IPL, before which captain Shubman Gill had done this feat.
