After UK Board, now action in public hearing! CM Dhami told the officials- ‘Stop making the public run around’
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami organized a public hearing program on Saturday at the ‘Main Sevak Sadan’ of the Chief Minister Camp Office in Dehradun. During this time the Chief Minister was seen in a different style. He interacted directly with the citizens who came with their problems from every corner of the state and listened to their complaints very seriously. The special thing was that the CM resolved many complicated cases on the spot, due to which the faces of the complainants lit up.
Strict instructions to officials: ‘Delay in work will not be tolerated’
During the public hearing, many issues related to roads, drinking water, health, education and financial assistance came before the Chief Minister. Taking immediate action on these, CM Dhami gave blunt instructions to the officials. He said that cases related to public interest should be resolved on priority basis and within a fixed time limit. The Chief Minister made it clear that unnecessary delay in solving the problems will not be tolerated at all. He stressed on making the government and administration sensitive, accountable and transparent towards the public so that the common man can get quick relief.
Uttarakhand’s new film policy welcomed
Amidst this programme, officials of ‘Uttarakhand Film Television and Radio Association’ met the Chief Minister. He expressed his gratitude to CM Dhami for the new and visionary film policy implemented in the state and handed him a congratulatory letter. The association says that due to the new film policy, Uttarakhand is now becoming a major center of the country for film production. This is not only providing work to local artists and technicians, but is also opening new avenues of employment for the youth.
Chief Minister became proud after seeing the posters of girl students
Under the banner of Jan Jagran Abhiyan Committee, girl students from various schools also met the Chief Minister. These students had prepared very beautiful and attractive posters based on the 15 best schemes of the state government. The girl students thanked the CM for the benefits the society is getting through these schemes. The Chief Minister praised the creativity of the girl students and said that such activities increase the awareness of the students towards society and governance. He reiterated that his government is fully committed to education, women empowerment and youth development.
On this important occasion, IG Garhwal Rajiv Swaroop, Additional Secretary JC Kandpal, Additional Commissioner Garhwal Uttam Singh Chauhan and all senior officials of the Chief Minister’s Office were present.
