Against Hyderabad, Vaibhav Suryavanshi batted aggressively from the beginning and played a stormy innings of 103 runs in just 37 balls with the help of 5 fours and 12 sixes. During this, he completed his century in 36 balls. This is the second century of Vaibhav’s IPL career. Earlier, he had scored a century in just 35 balls against Gujarat Titans in IPL 2025.
Became the first batsman to do so in IPL history
Let us tell you, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has become the first batsman in IPL history to score a century twice in less than 40 balls. Apart from him, no batsman has been able to do this feat twice till now. Batsmen like Chris Gayle, Yusuf Pathan, Heinrich Klaasen, David Miller, Travis Head and Priyansh Arya have scored centuries in less than 40 balls. But Vaibhav has now gone ahead of them.
