Bhadra: HPV vaccine awareness camp in PM Shri School, girls motivated for vaccination

An awareness camp regarding HPV vaccine was organized at PM Shri Government Higher Secondary School, Bhadra on Friday. The objective of this program was to make girls aware about vaccination to prevent cervical cancer.
SDM in the program Bhagirath Ram Chaudharybcmo Dr. Lakshya Chaudhary, Dr. Sandeep Poonia, Dr. Naveen Ghanghasformer head Santosh Beniwalformer councilor Sharda Swami Many dignitaries including, participated and highlighted the usefulness of the vaccine.
SDM Bhagirath Ram Choudhary said that many serious diseases have been eradicated due to vaccination, hence HPV vaccine is also very important for girls. He said that there should not be any misconception regarding this vaccine.
BCMO Dr. Lakshya Chaudhary informed that this vaccine is given to girls of 14 to 15 years of age, due to which the risk of cervical cancer in future can be reduced to a great extent. Dr. Sandeep Poonia said that this vaccine is available free of cost in Sub District Hospital Bhadra and more and more girls should take advantage of it.
Deputy Principal of the school Om Prakash Sudda Emphasizing on awareness, he also said that it is important to avoid the misconceptions spread in the society. head of institution Ramesh Kumar Sharma Appealed to the girl students to become self-aware and get vaccinated on time.
Other people present in the program also shared their views and gave the message of being health conscious.
