KDA freed 8000 square meter land worth Rs 40 crore from illegal encroachment
Kanpur. Kanpur Development Authority (KDA) took major action in Ispat Nagar Sector-I and removed illegal encroachment from about 8000 square meters of developed plots.
By demolishing the encroachment, the land was freed into the ownership of the authority, the market value of which was said to be around Rs 40 crore. Vice President Madan Singh Garbyal said these things on Saturday.
Kanpur Development Authority took action to remove illegal encroachment on developed plots in Ispat Nagar Sector-I, Kanpur city.
During the action, approximately 8000 square meters of land was completely freed from encroachment and secured in the ownership of the authority. The market value of the freed land is around Rs 40 crore.
In this action, Assistant Engineer Nitin Bhardwaj, Junior Engineer Kailash Singh, employees of the authority, enforcement team, Inspector in-charge of Panki police station Vineet Singh Bisht, PAC force and heavy police force were present.
The action was completed in the presence of officials and further administrative process has been started. The authority says that strict action will continue against such illegal encroachments in future also.
