Singer Dhee’s independent track ‘Various Various‘ released on April 24, Friday, and it has already garnered 21,000 views on YouTube alone. It is her second independent song to release online in the space of a month. Releasing the song on YouTube, she described it saying, “‘Various Various‘ is about someone or something that’s gone and isn’t around anymore, something that’s been lost. By the end, it feels like the whole song is this search for yourself that you might’ve lost along the way, like your inner child.”
Since its release, Dhee has been getting much love and appreciation for the track. The latest to express his admiration for it is actor Suriya, who appeared on video with earlier this Sunday. The actor met the singer for the first time in Colombo, a trip that he has made after a gap of 24 years. “It’s lovely to spend an evening like this with you. Thank you for taking time and coming and meeting me, and showing us the song,” Suriya said in the video.
