The latest case has come to light from the house of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ famous actress Archana Puran Singh. It is reported that Archana Puran Singh’s son Aryaman Sethi has become a victim of online fraud. The vicious thugs cheated and withdrew around Rs 87 thousand from his bank account. This incident has once again raised big questions on the security of digital transactions. Trap of fraud: A link and account found empty. According to the information, this fraud was done through a fake message or link. It is being told that Aryaman was duped in the name of renewal of some service or offer. As soon as he clicked on the relevant link or shared his information, an OTP came on his mobile and within no time he started receiving messages of money being deducted from his account. By the time Aryaman could understand something, the swindlers had stolen a huge amount of Rs 87,000. Complaint lodged with the police, cyber cell engaged in investigation. As soon as he realized the fraud, Aryaman immediately informed his bank and got the card blocked. Considering the seriousness of the matter, an official complaint has been lodged in the Cyber Cell of Mumbai. Police are now trying to track the bank account and IP address where the money has been transferred. There is no detailed official statement on this matter from Archana Puran Singh or her husband Parmeet Sethi yet, but according to sources, the family is very upset by this incident. Even celebrities are not safe. This is not the first time that a Bollywood celebrity’s family has become a victim of cyber crime. Even before this, there have been reports of many stars’ accounts being hacked or being cheated in the name of online shopping. Cyber experts say that fraudsters are now adopting new methods, where they target children of famous personalities. They often trap people in the name of social media or fake courier services. Caution is the only protection. After this incident, cyber experts have once again warned people not to click on any unknown link. The bank never asks for PIN or OTP from you over the phone.
