Mercedes Martinez recently said that she is going to retire from full-time wrestling. Martínez recently gave an interview to the Grue Rume show. There she said, “Everyone says there is retirement, but in this business we never retire. That is why I want to make it clear that this is my last year as a full-time active wrestler. This means that I will not be constantly busy. Now my body cannot bear this thing. It is difficult to work continuously for weeks. I have turned 45. My body is now saying that it is enough. I have achieved my goal. I have achieved a lot, I don’t need to prove anything now.
