  • 1 cup finely chopped spinach
  • 1/2 cup gram flour
  • 1/4 cup grated cheese
  • 1 green chilli (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • salt as per taste
  • 1/2 tsp celery
  • a little water
  • Oil (for frying)

How to make Cheese Palak Pakora

Making flavourful Cheesy Palak Pakoda is not very difficult. For this, put gram flour in a bowl and add chopped spinach, green chillies, salt, turmeric, red chilli powder and celery to it. Now prepare a thick batter by adding water little by little. Keep in mind that the batter should not be too thin.

Now add grated cheese to the prepared batter and mix well. This will give the pakoras a melty and creamy taste from inside.

Put oil in the pan and heat it on medium flame. The oil should not be too hot, otherwise the pakodas will burn from outside and may remain raw from inside.

Now take small portions from the batter and drop them into hot oil. Fry them till they turn golden brown. Keep turning occasionally so that it gets cooked properly from all sides.

Remove the fried pakodas on tissue paper to remove excess oil. Now serve them with hot green chutney or tomato sauce. These pakodas can be prepared in less time.
