Mercedes-Benz C-Class: Celebration edition of Mercedes-Benz C-Class and E-Class launched in India, only 140 units will be sold
Mercedes-Benz C-Class : Mercedes-Benz India has introduced special ‘Celebration Editions’ of the C-Class and E-Class in the country. This has been done to celebrate the global milestone of 140 years of the brand. These limited-run models were announced at the launch of the CLA Electric. Earlier too, similar memorable editions were seen on models like EQS and Maybach GLS. The special thing is that only 140-140 units of both these editions will be available.

The price of Mercedes-Benz C-Class Celebration Edition has been kept at ₹ 62.40 lakh (ex-showroom), which is slightly more than its standard model (₹ 59.90 lakh).
The Mercedes-Benz E-Class Celebration Edition is available at ₹82.70 lakh (ex-showroom), while its regular variant starts at ₹80 lakh.
What’s new?
No mechanical changes have been made in these Celebration Editions. That means the engine and performance are the same as before. However, the company has added some extra features and premium elements to it, like dashcam, rear seat entertainment screen, cushions and special collectibles. Their aim is to provide a special and exclusive ownership experience to the customers.
The C-Class Celebration Edition is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine, which comes with a mild-hybrid system. This setup gives a power of 197 bhp, along with an additional boost of 20 bhp and 440 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 9-speed automatic transmission.

heating and ventilation
Its special features include heating and ventilation for the front seats, 360-degree camera, Burmester sound system, 11.9-inch touchscreen infotainment unit and a fully digital instrument cluster.
