‘Devil Wears Prada 2’ to reunite Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt

Devil Wears Prada director David Frankel has finally spoken about the absence of Adrian Grenier.

The 49-year-old actor played the character of Nate, Andy Sachs boyfriend in the 2006 romantic comedy.

Internet reacted strongly after the trailer release of the second sequel as they all expected Adrian to return.

There was a lot of chat about his absence. Director David has finally addressed why he didn’t appear in the second sequel even though there were plans to sneak Grenier in the film for a cameo.

Frankel explained that the filming on The Devil Wears Prada 2 was completed less than a month before its release, therefore, there wasn’t enough time.

“I had an idea about sneaking him into a cameo, and in the end, it was just too late in our production schedule to make it happen.”

When asked to share what would Adrian’s character would have done in the sequel, the filmmaker told Entertainment Weekly“No, I probably shouldn’t say.”

The upcoming sequel is all set to reunite Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci.
