Bihar will be full of water! Thunderstorm alert in 21 districts, relief from heat

Patna. The weather is about to take a turn amidst the scorching heat in Bihar these days. There are indications of thunderstorms and rain in most parts of the state in the next two to three days. The Meteorological Department has issued Orange and Yellow alerts for 21 districts, which makes it clear that rain along with strong winds in many areas can give relief to people from the heat.

Warning of rain and strong wind in these districts

There is a possibility of rain with thunder in many districts of North and East Bihar. Change in weather patterns may be seen in districts like Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Vaishali, Shivhar, Samastipur, Supaul, Araria, Purnia, Kishanganj, Madhepura, Saharsa, Katihar, Bhagalpur, Banka, Jamui, Munger and Khagaria. There is also a possibility of strong winds blowing at a speed of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour in these areas.

Whereas in East and West Champaran, wind may blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour with light rain. The Meteorological Department has advised people to remain alert, especially to stay away from open spaces and weak structures.

Heat wave will continue in some districts

However, there will be no relief in the entire state. The effect of scorching heat will still persist in districts like Buxar, Bhojpur, Bhabhua, Rohtas, Aurangabad and Arwal. The temperature will remain high in these areas and heat wave-like conditions may trouble people.

What will be the condition of temperature?

In the next three days, the maximum temperature in North Bihar is expected to be between 32 to 36 degrees Celsius, while in South Bihar it may go up to 34 to 40 degrees. A continuous increase in temperature has been observed in recent days. Maximum temperatures in the state were recorded between 33 and 44 degrees Celsius, with Dehri being the hottest place where the mercury reached 44.4 degrees Celsius.
