Ranbir Kapoor refuses to pose with Aditya Roy Kapur; fans get nostalgic, reminded of YJHD days
Remember the lead male protagonists from the film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, the duo Aditya Roy Kapur and Ranbir Kapoor, the uber cool, dapper actors, met nearly after 13 years and sparked a wave of nostalgia as they reunited at an event in Mumbai, reminding fans of their beloved characters Avi and Bunny from good old Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
The duo were captured playing football for an event hosted by Mumbai Police along with Kartik Aaryan and Abhishek Bachchan.
Paps captured them as they walked towards the ground to play the sport. However, amid several playful moments, one moment that truly stole the spotlight was Ranbir jokingly refusing to pose for a picture with Aditya, leaving fans and paps amused.
In a video, Aditya Roy Kapur and Ranbir Kapoor were seen posing for the paparazzi on a street. When a photographer asked them to pose together, Ranbir said, “Nahi iske saath nahi, yeh bahut handsome hai (No, not with him, he’s very handsome).” Aditya smiled and jokingly tapped Ranbir, adding to the light-hearted moment.
However, one moment left Aditya off guard when he tried to shake hands with Mumbai Police personnel, but they walked away. It appeared that they were coming to greet him, but that wasn’t the case; in fact, when Aditya extended his hand, thinking they were there for a handshake, they moved on to some other task. Take a look at the video.
Other videos from the event also showed them sharing a warm hug and laughing together as they walked side by side.
Their reunion took over the internet, with many reminded of Bunny and Avi.
One comment read, “This is so cuteee.”
Another wrote, “So YJHD coded.”
A third joked, “We got Bunny and Avi together before GTA 6.”
