Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bhoot Bangla’ has maintained its strong hold at the box office. On the 9th day of release (Saturday), the film has crossed the ₹ 100 crore mark in India, showing a tremendous jump. On Saturday, the film earned around ₹10.75 crore, taking its total collection to ₹100.90 crore. On Sunday also the film earned more than ₹12 crore. Akshay and Priyadarshan’s comeback after 16 years has been successful in drawing the audience to the theatre.

Box office collection of movie Michael

Hollywood film Michael has recently been released in India, which has registered a good opening. The film, starring Michael Jackson’s nephew Jafar Jackson, earned around ₹3.70 crore on its first day (Friday). The film’s earnings saw an increase on Saturday and it collected ₹5.10 crore. On Sunday, the film recorded its highest ever earning of ₹5.50 crore. According to the report of Sacnilk, after the 3-day long weekend, the total India net collection of the film has reached around ₹ 16 crores.

Who has the upper hand?

If compared, ‘Bhoot Bangla’ seems to have the upper hand because despite being in its second week, the film is earning more daily earnings than the opening weekend of ‘Michael’. However, ‘Michael’ has presented quite respectable figures in India in terms of Hollywood biopic.
