Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are now separate states but similar politics is being seen in both. The situation of the two big political families of both the states has now become similar. His own sister Y S Sharmila is standing in front of Jagan Mohan Reddy, son of veteran Congress leader Rajasekhara Reddy. Now it is the same in Telangana and the daughter of the first Chief Minister of the state, K Chandrashekhar Rao. Kavitha has also now formed her new party Telangana Rashtra Sandesh (TRS). The main issue in both the families is brother vs sister. In Andhra Pradesh, Sharmila is standing in front of Jagan, while in Telangana, now her sister Kavita is standing in front of KT Rama Rao.
K Kavita, who has been jailed in the Delhi Excise Policy case, has alleged many times that her father i.e. KCR is surrounded by people who want to destroy Bharat Rashtra Samiti. She has also accused her cousin Harish Rao and real brother KT Rama Rao. Now she is standing in front of her own brothers and has entered the field by forming a new party. Before this, Kavita had written letters to her father KCR several times but no response was received from him.

Why was Kavita suspended?
The reason for Kavita’s rebellious attitude is her brother. Kavita had made various allegations against party MP Santosh Kumar, her cousin Harish Rao and KT Rama Rao. Kavita said that a conspiracy has been hatched to defame her father i.e. KCR and these leaders of her own party are supporting CM Revanth Reddy. Referring to the Kaleshwaram project, Kavita had even said that KCR was tainted with corruption because his close ones misused his name.
Taking the names of Harish Rao and Santosh Kumar, who were ministers in the KCR government, he had alleged that it was because of these people that KCR got defamed. Even on the occasion of Rakshabandhan in 2025, KCR did not go to tie Rakhi to his brother KT Rama Rao. In May he wrote a letter to his father KCR which became public. He had alleged that KTR wants to merge his party with BJP. He had also held the party leaders responsible for his own defeat in Nizamabad in 2019. It was from here that she became the target of her party leaders.

What happened with the poem?
May 2014- Elected as MP from Nizamabad Lok Sabha seat of Telangana.
May 2019- Contested elections from Nizamabad but lost.
October 2020- Became a member of Telangana Legislative Council.
April 2024- K Kavita arrested on charges of scam in Delhi Excise Policy case.
August 2024- K Kavita came out of jail after getting bail.
September 2025- Kavita was suspended from the party on charges of anti-party activities.
September 2025- Angered by this, Kavita resigned from the membership of BRS and Legislative Council.
April 2026- Formed his new party Telangana Rashtra Sandesh.
What is the story of Jagan and Sharmila?
The story of Jagan Mohan Reddy and his sister Y S Sharmila was also similar. After separating from Congress, Jagan Mohan Reddy, his mother and sister Y S Sharmila formed the YSR Congress Party. Whenever Mohan went to jail, YS Sharmila took charge of the party. However, it is said that the rift over distribution of property grew so much that Sharmila left Andhra Pradesh and shifted to Telangana and started looking for land there by forming the YSR Telangana Party. However, his efforts did not seem to be successful.

In January 2024, YS Sharmila suddenly returned to her old party i.e. Congress and merged YSR Telangana. From here she became vocal against her own brother because Congress and YSR Congress are now rivals in Andhra Pradesh. Congress has also made YS Sharmila the state Congress president.
