Strictness on employees in Bihar: Salary will be decided through biometrics

Patna. Bihar Education Department has taken strict steps to improve the working style of officers and employees. The department has now made biometric attendance mandatory for all employees. Not only this, now the salary will also be paid on the basis of the attendance of the employees.

It is mandatory to arrive on time

According to the new order, employees will be required to reach office by 9:30 am every working day. Action will be taken against those coming late or leaving early. The aim of this step is to ensure discipline and timeliness in government work.

Inspection system is also strict

The department has not only strengthened the presence but also the monitoring system. All senior officers and in-charges will now inspect their respective offices fortnightly. The inspection report will be prepared and sent to the higher level, so that the quality of work can be monitored.

ban on leave without permission

Under the new rules, now no employee will be able to take leave without prior approval.

Lunch time has been fixed from 1 pm to 2 pm.

No employee will be allowed to leave the office prematurely.

If any employee violates the rules, he will be asked for an explanation and necessary action will be taken.

It will be mandatory to remain at workplace

All employees will have to work while being present at their workplace. A warning has been given of strict action if found roaming here and there without permission. This will help in improving work culture and fixing responsibility.
