Mamta Banerjee’s big claim before the second phase – “TMC’s victory is certain”
Kolkata . The political atmosphere has intensified before the second phase of voting in West Bengal. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee made a big claim about her party’s victory by posting on social media platform X on Monday. He said that the victory of “Maa, Mati, Manush” is no longer a prediction but a definite outcome and it is only a matter of time.
Referring to the recent marches and public meetings, Mamata Banerjee said that she has received tremendous support and affection from the public. He wrote that this trust and relationship has been built by standing with people over the years and this is his biggest strength.
The Chief Minister also mentioned the cultural heritage and social harmony of West Bengal in his statement. He said that Bengal has always been a symbol of culture, tradition and brotherhood and there is no place for divisive forces here. Making an indirect attack on the opposition, he alleged that some forces want to weaken the state’s heritage and rights, but the public will respond to them democratically.
Mamata Banerjee also highlighted the development work of her government. He claimed that the public welfare schemes being run in the state have reached every section of the society and these schemes are working as a protective shield for the people. He said that no force can end these schemes and the development pace of the state will continue.
Before voting, he also made a special appeal to the voters. He asked the people to press the button of “Joraphool” (TMC’s election symbol) on the polling day on April 29 and ensure party candidates win with an overwhelming majority, so that the process of development and peace can continue.
Meanwhile, the electoral contest in the state has become more interesting. Nearly 93.2 percent voting was recorded in the first phase, after which both the ruling Trinamool Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party have claimed victory.
Amidst the election excitement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also going to address a big public meeting in the state, due to which the political contest has become more intense.
The second phase of voting in West Bengal will be held on April 29, while the counting of votes will be done on May 4. In such a situation, all the parties have put their full strength into the election campaign and the round of claims and counter-claims regarding the final results is going on.
