LSG vs KKR: Kolkata Knight Riders vice-captain and all-rounder Rinku Singh performed brilliantly in the IPL 2026 match against Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana Cricket Stadium on Sunday (April 26). Rinku batted brilliantly in a pressure situation and scored an unbeaten 83 runs in 51 balls, hitting 7 fours and 5 sixes. After this, he showed excellence in fielding and took four catches.

During this, Rinku took a brilliant catch of Lucknow’s opening batsman Aiden Markram.

On the second ball of Cameron Green, who came to bowl the 11th over of the innings, Markram played a good length ball in the air towards long off. Rinku caught the ball while going towards the right, but the body was going outside the boundary line so she threw the ball back in the field and came back to complete the catch. Markram returned to the pavilion after confirmation in the replay by the TV umpire.

Markram’s wicket proved important for KKR and the team returned to the match. Markram was the second most successful batsman of Lucknow and he played an inning of 31 runs in 27 balls.

It is noteworthy that in this match, KKR defeated Lucknow in the super over. This is KKR’s second win in the current season and Lucknow’s fifth consecutive defeat.

After being invited to bat first, Kolkata scored 155 runs for the loss of 7 wickets after a poor start. Apart from Rinku, Green scored 34 runs in 21 balls.

In bowling, Mohsin Khan took 5 wickets for 23 runs for Lucknow.

In reply, Lucknow tied the match by scoring 155 runs at the loss of 8 wickets. Apart from Markram, Rishabh Pant added 42 runs in 38 balls.
