Approval for AAP MPs to Join BJP: Rajya Sabha Chairman’s approval for seven Aam Aadmi Party MPs including Raghav Chadha to join BJP, the matter is now likely to go to court.

New Delhi. Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman CP Radhakrishnan has approved the seven MPs who left the Aam Aadmi Party to join BJP. After this, the number of BJP MPs in Rajya Sabha has increased to 113. This has strengthened BJP in Rajya Sabha. Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh had applied to the Speaker to disqualify the seven MPs under the provisions of the Constitution. With the Chairman giving the green signal to all the seven MPs of Aam Aadmi Party to join BJP, the matter can now go to the court.

Recently, MPs Raghav Chadha, Sandeep Pathak, Ashok Mittal, former cricketer Harbhajan Singh, Swati Maliwal, Vikramjit Singh Sahni and Rajinder Gupta had announced to leave the Aam Aadmi Party and join BJP. Now after his joining BJP, only three MPs of Aam Aadmi Party are left in Rajya Sabha. This matter started when Aam Aadmi Party removed Raghav Chadha from the post of Deputy Leader in Rajya Sabha and replaced him with Ashok Mittal. When Raghav Chadha raised questions, Aam Aadmi Party leaders retaliated by alleging that Raghav was not raising the issues of Punjab and was speaking in favor of the Modi government.

Swati Maliwal, who joined BJP, had already stood against Arvind Kejriwal. Swati Maliwal had alleged that when she went to meet Kejriwal at his bungalow when he was the CM, she was beaten up by Bibhav Kumar, close to the Aam Aadmi Party chief. The special thing is that Sandeep Pathak has also left Kejriwal. Like Raghav Chadha, Sandeep Pathak has been considered very close to Kejriwal. Sandeep Pathak had made the strategy for the victory of Aam Aadmi Party in the assembly elections in Punjab. It is being told that before leaving the party, Sandeep had also talked to Kejriwal and then he did not talk about it.
