Strong winds can blow at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour in many parts of the state. Gusty winds are expected especially in districts like Aligarh, Hathras, Etah, Firozabad, Jhansi and Lalitpur. This will bring down the temperature, but strong winds can also cause damage.

According to the Meteorological Department, rain activities may increase further on April 29 and 30. Storms and rains are likely to continue in many parts of the state till May 2, which will provide relief from the heat.
