It gets a 223-cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that generates 16 PS and 16 Nm of torque. The price for the Keeway SR 250 starts at Rs 1.54 lakh, ex-showroom.

Yezdi last week launched the updated Scrambler in the market. Apart from updated colour options and features like ride modes and traction control, it comes with a new series of engines that Yezdi is calling “Katar.”

Yezdi has made several changes to the bike to reduce its weight, and the revised engine now generates 30 PS and 30 Nm of peak torque. It comes with a single exhaust instead of the twin setup seen in the previous version. The price for the new Scrambler starts at Rs 1.99 lakh.

Honda launched the scrambler version of the CB350 as the CB350RS a few years ago. It is also one of the affordable scrambler motorcycles one can buy in the Indian market. Compared to the regular CB350, the RS variant comes with a redesigned LED headlamp, side panels, a stubby tail section, and an upswept exhaust.

The motorcycle is powered by a 349 cc, single-cylinder engine that generates 20.78 PS and 30 Nm of torque. The price for the Honda CB350RS starts at Rs 1.97 lakh, ex-showroom.

Royal Enfield also has a bike in this segment, and it is essentially the scrambler version of the previous-generation Himalayan. Royal Enfield is said to be working on a new-generation Scram, but in this list, we are focusing on the current model. It was initially called the 411, and last year it received an update and is now called the Scram 440.

As part of the update, Royal Enfield now offers a 443-cc, single-cylinder engine that generates 25.4 bhp and 34 Nm of torque. The price for the Scram 440 starts at Rs 2.23 lakh, ex-showroom.

2025 triumph scrambler 400x engine spec

Triumph launched the updated 400 X in the market. Compared to the older version, it is now powered by a 349-cc engine. This change was made to benefit from revised GST norms. The motorcycle is suitable for those who are looking for an entry-level scrambler from Triumph. It generates 37 PS and 32 Nm of torque. The price for the Scrambler 400 X starts at Rs 2.59 lakh, ex-showroom.

Triumph also offers a higher variant of the 400 X scrambler. The 400 XC variant comes with several accessories as standard. It features cross-spoke wheels, tubeless tyres, an aluminium sump guard, an engine guard, and more. It is powered by the same 349-cc engine as the Scrambler 400 X. The starting price for this motorcycle is Rs 2.90 lakh, ex-showroom.

Although not very popular, the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 is another scrambler that you can buy in the Indian market. The bike comes with a neo-retro and unique design, along with a decent number of features like ride modes, traction control, cornering MTC, a bi-directional quickshifter, and more.

The bike is powered by a 398 cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that generates 46 PS and 39 Nm of torque. The price for the Svartpilen 401 starts at Rs 2.89 lakh, ex-showroom.

BSA also launched the scrambler version of its Gold Star motorcycle in India. It was launched internationally last year and received an overwhelming response. The motorcycle gets a scrambler-like design with a beak, round headlamp, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a raised flat single-piece seat, and a minimalist design. It is 6 kg lighter than the Gold Star and is powered by a 652 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces around 45 PS of power and 55 Nm of torque.
