Royal Challengers Bangalore has strengthened its position in the race for the playoffs by defeating Delhi Capitals by 9 wickets. In this match, the team achieved the easy target in just 6.3 overs.
In the match, Virat Kohli played a short but important inning of 23 unbeaten runs and during this he also made a big record, becoming the first batsman to complete 9000 runs in IPL history.
When the players reached the team hotel after the match, a small fan was standing outside with his miniature bat in the hope of getting an autograph from Kohli. It can be seen in the video that the child was continuously calling Kohli.
However, due to heavy security cover and earphones, Kohli went inside the hotel without stopping and the child could not get an autograph.
The child became extremely disappointed when Kohli moved ahead and threw his bat and started crying. This entire scene was captured on camera and quickly went viral on social media.
Strict safety protocols are in place for teams in the IPL. Players are kept away from unnecessary contact and crowds inside the team hotel, due to which it is often not possible to meet fans directly in such circumstances.
