Got a chance to play with Virat Kohli

In an interview given to Rev Sports, ACP Sanjay Singh narrated an old incident related to Virat Kohli. He told that this incident is from the year 2003-04, when there used to be league matches in Delhi Police, in which the top-16 teams of different leagues used to play against each other. At that time Virat Kohli was only 16 years old. Their team could not qualify and our team did. At that time there was a rule in the tournament that two players from the team that did not qualify could be included in the team, then King Kohli joined our team and played and in this way ACP Sanjay Singh got a chance to share the field with Indian legend Virat Kohli.

Virat Kohli kept practicing for hours

Taking his point further, ACP Sanjay Singh revealed that it was raining heavily on the day of the tournament and the Feroze Shah Kotla Stadium was flooded. Then all our fellow players were eating tea and pakodas. At that time, Virat kept practicing indoor for hours and it is because of this dedication that he has reached where he is today.
