The day after the match, Kohli arrived at Delhi Public School, RK Puram to inaugurate the new branch of West Delhi Cricket Academy. This academy is associated with his childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma. As soon as Kohli came on the stage, the enthusiasm of the children reached its peak and they started shouting slogans of RCB-RCB loudly. The atmosphere became so noisy that Kohli had to appeal to the children smilingly to remain calm.

Kohli said in a light-hearted manner, “Please let me speak, man, I am not used to this.” Thanking the children, he said that speaking on the school stage is a slightly different experience for him, because he had long ago moved away from this environment due to cricket. He also said that he understands school life very well and has himself gone through the same process that these children are going through today.

Kohli expressed hope that the children coming here will take full advantage of this opportunity and work hard to fulfill their dreams.
