IPL 2026- Captain Riyan Parag was seen smoking e-cigarette in the dressing room, video goes viral on social media.

IPL 2026: In IPL 2026, Rajasthan Royals registered a spectacular win against Punjab Kings on Tuesday, but after the match, captain Riyan Parag came into the limelight for a different reason. The video of him allegedly vaping in the dressing room is becoming increasingly viral on social media, after which a new controversy has arisen.

In the match played at Maharaja Yadvendra Singh International Cricket Stadium, New Chandigarh, Punjab Kings, batting first, gave a big target of 223 runs to Rajasthan Royals. In reply, Rajasthan won the match by six wickets with four balls remaining.

In this victory, Donovan Ferreira played an unbeaten 52 runs and Shubham Dubey played an important inning of 31 runs. The wonderful partnership between the two led the team to a memorable victory. But after the match was over, the discussion started more about Riyan Parag’s viral video than about the victory. In the video, he is seen using an electronic vape device in the dressing room. At that time Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel were also seen present there.

It is being told that Parag tried to vape quietly, but could not escape the sight of the cameras. As soon as the video surfaced, it quickly went viral on social media and sparked debate among fans. This matter is also considered serious because according to the rules of IPL, smoking is completely banned in the dressing room and dugout. This also includes e-cigarettes and vaping. In such a situation, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the IPL Governing Council can investigate this matter.

Rajasthan Royals were already in the news for another rule violation. Team manager Romi Bhinder was fined Rs 1 lakh for using his phone in the dugout. Now the case of Riyan Parag can become a new problem for the team. Vaping means heating a special liquid and inhaling its vapor through an electronic cigarette or vape pen. This liquid usually contains nicotine, flavors and other chemicals. There are strict rules in place regarding e-cigarettes and vaping devices in India, and there is a provision for both fine and punishment for breaking the rules.

Now everyone’s eyes are on what decision BCCI takes in this matter. Riyan Parag may face a warning, fine or even a match ban.
