The main reason for this is not following the correct ‘dress code’. Like every year, this time too the security standards of the National Testing Agency (NTA) are so strict that even a small mistake made at the examination center can become a big problem for you.

  • The more simple clothes you wear, the less hassle there will be in checking.
  • outerwear: It is best to wear a light colored half sleeve T-shirt or shirt.
  • What not to wear: Do not wear full sleeve clothes at all, you will not be allowed to enter wearing them.
  • Avoid Design: Avoid wearing clothes that have big buttons, zips, lots of pockets or heavy embroidery.
  • Footwear: It is prohibited to go to the examination center wearing shoes, hence wear only simple slippers or sandals with thin sole.
  • Do not make the mistake of wearing heavy soled shoes and high heeled sandals, as these will be removed at the gate itself.

What things should not be taken with you to the exam center

Similarly, students are also prohibited from wearing bangles or chains. Even big rubber bands or clutches for hair are removed at the exam center gate, so it is best to go completely casual.

What to carry with admit card?

  • Admit Card: Keep your colored admit card with you by pasting the photo of the form.
  • Extra photo: Carry an extra passport photo to be affixed on the attendance sheet.
  • Original Identity Card: Carry the ‘original’ ID, either Aadhaar, PAN or Voter ID, photocopy will not be valid.

Attention students wearing kada or hijab

Students wearing items associated with religious or cultural identity (such as kirpan, kada or hijab) will have to reach the examination center at least 2 hours in advance. By arriving on time, your examination will be done easily and it will also ensure that you follow the rules of the examination.
